A lot of companies are cutting out bonuses. And it's in your best interest. Under Oboma Care bonuses are taxed 40% federal. They are trying to figure out how to roll them into normal pay . Have mixed feelings about this , bad drivers get the extra pay in lew of the bonus .

Rather than bonus, the extra is earned and can be classified as "performance incentive" which can be rolled into cpm or bump in % for those drivers who earned the extra. I oppose the 40% or any additional tax rate. Any way you shake it, all based on [hopefully] individual performance. I personally am opposed to company based performance - which rewards slackers. It's the same in non-transportation corporate world!

Another option could be an issuance of subordinate shares to cover a portion of bonuses, if not all (employee choosing) and for employees to share in a company's profitability and success which we all know would not happen without the "professional drivers." Would be pre-tax with zero (safe harbor) or short vesting period. Not a 3 - 5 year vesting plan.
