Obviously.... If he's working for Swift.... He'll take anything. As long as it's a twuck.
Toomanybikes, morpheus, Dan.S and 1 other person Thank this. -
I do like otr dry van
Ideal for me would be either a dedicated account with no touch freight.
Or
Long haul loads,like coast to coast -
Admit to everything they accuse you of, then tell them you want a driver facing camera to learn to drive better.Toomanybikes, Oldironfan, not4hire and 9 others Thank this. -
Danny Herman Trucking runs coast to coast and usually stays below I-40 and no Northeast.
They're headquartered in Mountain City,TN and have two facilities in southern California. Lots of I-10/I-8 and both coasts. Trucks are set up for driver comfort with APU, etc.
@DAX_
CFI www.cfidrive.com is ok for OTR dry van. No APU, but they do run everywhere.Last edited: Dec 10, 2017

In Baltimore its the first use of either the word "Ain't" inspire of all efforts of Public Education to the contrary or the proper use of profanity in context, preferably before age 8 that will really get people going. The streets teach you way more than skool will really fast. Like before "Tree Fiddy" (Three Fifty O Clock today...)JReding Thanks this.

Our company has forward facing "connected" drive cams. They can verify anybody's claim as long as it can be verified with the forward camera (and we also have dual hood mirrors too visible from the camera which captures some activity down the sides), and if they can provide a time and place and trailer or truck number within 48 hours of the alleged incident. But this practice has been going on since there were phones. Hell, there are "rat drivers" inside every company, too.
Best bet is to be careful and don't screw up. Yes there are some who drop a dime on the most insignificant BS, but problem drivers are quickly weeded out when they start getting frequent call-ins inside a relatively short time span of employment.Last edited: Dec 10, 2017

A lot of companies, even good ones, are hiring guys to watch for their trucks and report their driving. Both good and bad.

I assumed it was autocorrect. Thanks for the correction. A word of advice from a guy that's old enough to have figured out how the world works. If you talk like you just stepped out of the ghetto, people will think you just stepped out of the ghetto and doors will remain shut to you. Talk like you came from middle class suburbia and people will think you came from middle class suburbia doors will be opened for you. I'm not saying its right, but it is how it is and its a whole lot easier to get ahead in this world if you play the game to your advantage.Maj. Jackhole, calnca, Dan.S and 4 others Thank this.
