Did you wait to get your first job or your last job until every question was answered?
If you are worried about bathroom issues you can deal with those avfew different ways. You can stop often & use public restrooms. You can also easily have a setup for the truck. It depends on how often you anticipate such events, how cheap you are, how squeamish you are.
Getting sick and trucking, how do you get your medications?

i'm probably not going to drive until another year. I'm just waiting to get my health in order. But I'm just curious about what drivers do in the event of such a health issues. you are absolutely right that I should not be driving a truck until I am healthy.
hope not dumb twucker Thanks this. -
Be careful with urgent care. The Mercy Health I went to in Joplin, MO charged me for an ER visit even though it isn't a hospital and only spoke with a nurse practitioner who probably misdiagnosed me. I ended up owing a few hundred dollars more than the $40 copay I thought I was going to pay. So tired of our BS healthcare system.

where I live, Brevard County Florida, one of our hospital shut down and it's caused overflow into our other hospitals. Thank goodness I have an understanding boss. But honestly, and someone please critique me if I'm wrong, but it's good to have a prescription of antibiotics just in case you need it.
It's also good like one member said not to hang out with people. i'm going to be very careful from now on. I apologize if this topic has been discussed endlessly.hope not dumb twucker Thanks this. -
overuse makes then ineffective. your body and the bacteria therein become immune to them.Tb0n3, Sirscrapntruckalot, Big Road Skateboard and 3 others Thank this. -

Like @Numb said stay away from antibiotics unless absolutely necessary. Lots of illness can not be treated by them but they kill off the microbes in your body that kill the worse microbes. You can easily get into a vicious cycle where antibiotics kill the good microbes so the bad microbes move in and make you worse off & the antibiotics are ineffective so you need powerful drugs, on and on.
Are you eating real food & getting all of your vitamins, etc? Your story is unusual, not common.Tb0n3 and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
Trucking and good health are not compatible.
Tb0n3, D.Tibbitt and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
In the military, the only time you call in sick is when the ambulance takes you to the emergency room.
If you're well enough to go see a doctor then you're well enough to report for duty.
I'll add that if you even think you might have bronchitis, then get to a clinic. You do not want to "ride it out" and risk getting pneumonia.D.Tibbitt and hope not dumb twucker Thank this.
