My son and gf live in florida. The keys. Obviously I want to find a company that can keep me near there as much as possible. I'd be fine with a week or so gone at a time at most. Any companies that'll put me in that position with little experience? ?????

With that said. US express said they offer dedicated runs possibly for Florida n they'll hire me with only 3 months experience. What do I need to make sure I get from them in writing to make sure they keep their word getting me a Florida gig??? I'd go with another company if anyone can recommend one :) thanks guys!!!!

Near the keys with little experience? Sorry but you're better off playing the lottery! That's one tall order.

When i say near the keys tho. I'm speaking generally. Hell I'd be happy if they could get me to north Florida once a week. Just want to see my son as much as possible. I did just start with usa but I'm not liking the experience. My friends just started with us express n they like it. They offered them dedicated runs after 3 months.

All these companies are the same. Stick with it for a year. Once you get a year in without job hopping, the opportunities open up.

Very few companies are going to higher you, even with experience and get you home weekly to south Florida. You can forget about south of Miami period. If you want to be home all the time in FL, get on with a company based in FL. That's the best advice you'll get on that subject. You might be able to get on hauling trash out of KW once you get some experience.

Yes, as you should have done your homework. If you came to me looking for a job, what's going to make me feel confident your not going to waste my time and money, and leave after three months. As you get closer and closer to your first year you should be looking for your next job. Believe me US Xpress is not the answer. Get that year in, don't job hop, and find a good union or ltl job. Find something specialized like tankers or OD.

For now, just run. Save money. Start researching for your next job, because applying with USA wouldn't have been anywhere on my list to start.
