Railroad tie will work to do it like ice road trucker.

Lot of diggin, plant it like a tree.

I just burnt 2 about 3 months ago, now I wish I would have kept them.

well I was able to get a 2x6x20" piece of wood all the way under the steers today. got out my hooks and jacked up one side with floor jack and then jacked up the the tire on the side i was jacking at the tow hook with my other floor jack at the log nuts with the weight distributed between the two jack was able to get the tire up off the ground enough to stick the piece of wood completely under both tires. tried to get her to move out with just that with no go. next i will dig in front of the drives with a pick axe. tried jacking up the drives and was able to get the rear drives up but not the front ones. can't seem to figure out a place to put the jack under them. i mean the handle gets in the way there's got to be room for you to be able to jack with those long handles on those floor jacks. hopefully digging out in front of the drives will allow them to go ahead and get her out.

When I lifted my back axles I had to do it from the back cross member.

In order for the jack to reach I had to put it on a bunch of 6x6 blocks ect. ect.

right, that's one way to do it. my 2 floor jack working together could probably do it but barely. ones a 1.5 ton and the others a 3 ton. im thinking youd have to jack it up quite a bit to get the front drives to go ahead and lift enough to get a 2x6 under them. if i could get it right under the one set of drives that are dug down the most would be the best option if possible instead of trying lift the entire rear of course.

I have a 40 ton bottle jack with about 12" lift.

Maybe you can lift it from the axles gear or under the U bolts beside the wheels?

I have lifted from the U bolts but cannot get under axle center with a bottle jack.
