Well there's your problem. I have that same clay soil, where the grass/weeds grow it gets very soft like that when it rains. Of course, any holes get water in them and get muddy too.

Wipe out that grass where you want to park it. Park it there when it's not raining, let it get nice and compacted, when it rains the water just runs off and it makes a good parking spot. Where I park my truck is solid, a few feet off to the side I would bury the thing straight to the frame or worse when it rains if I tried to drive over it, the difference is the grass.

You need someone to pour a dump truck load of gravel. Spread it out a foot thick under where you want to park that truck.

Those pictures are pretty. The land there is very close to what I had on my land. The trees tell me texas be your home.

Now... what is the deal with just two tires on your bogie aft drives?

well i inherited this truck from my uncle who died from cancer (hepatitis) and he had it sitting in his yard and the brakes locked up on the rear back passenger side drives, he tried to get them to unlock by dragging the tires hoping that would unlock them ended up rubbing a bald spot on them. so to get the truck over to my house i had to take the 2 ruined tires off and switch one of the good ones from the other side to the other side if that makes any sense. i was able to get the brakes unstuck with a long flat head screw driver and a hammer, popped them loose. havn't got the 2 ruined ones replaced yet.

if you pack that clay before throwing gravel, road base or what have you, it won't be so soft, tamper, roller, bucket of bobcat etc. there's plenty of instruction online..

    x1Heavy and joseph1853 Thank this.

yeah i was thinking fill the holes were it was stuck the first couple inches with some caliche base and the put some bigger rock on top of that and then the last couple inches top it off with some more caliche base or maybe just big rock for the majority of the holes and then base on top.. that bigger rock won't sink down as easy as some of the smaller base would i predict.
