Here's some pic's of the holes the tires created in my yard and were I've put the truck. Appreciate all y'all's replies, these forums are something else, I've learned a lot. you know how they say 2 heads are better then one how bout 30 lol..

Well there's your problem. I have that same clay soil, where the grass/weeds grow it gets very soft like that when it rains. Of course, any holes get water in them and get muddy too.
Wipe out that grass where you want to park it. Park it there when it's not raining, let it get nice and compacted, when it rains the water just runs off and it makes a good parking spot. Where I park my truck is solid, a few feet off to the side I would bury the thing straight to the frame or worse when it rains if I tried to drive over it, the difference is the grass.joseph1853 Thanks this. -
Those pictures are pretty. The land there is very close to what I had on my land. The trees tell me texas be your home.

if you pack that clay before throwing gravel, road base or what have you, it won't be so soft, tamper, roller, bucket of bobcat etc. there's plenty of instruction online..
