If you need to get a pair of {---my mind, I've lost my mind---} those black eye covers, whateverthehell they are called, they may help.
Suggest you do this at home first till you get used to em. Embarrassing as hell to be staggering around the parking lot screaming "I'm blind, I've gone blind"!!!
