Been there, done that. Because we have a strong relationship, we act as adults do when you need to earn a living a provide for a family.

I know how that is. I'm the trucker and she is in the military. The nice thing about the military is the "family". If everyone banded together like that, this place might be a lot better.

Get a good cell phone plan, and talk often.

My wife and I have a rule that we are to call each other whenever we have the urge, and not to give any thought to if the other is sleeping, busy, etc. Seems that those times you miss the other the most are the times when it is not the most convenient for the other to take a call, but are really the times when you need to talk the most.

I also make it a point to snap several pictures every day with my cell phone and message them to my wife. Helps her a lot to be able to see some of the things I see and gives us something to talk about. Has really made a difference in not feeling quite so far apart from each other since I started doing this.

The main thing is just to make the effort. You will get busy out on the road, but you have to make sure to take some time every day for each other. It will be really hard some days, but it is important to never miss a day and make sure the other feels that they are a priority.

Have her join a local Church. She will have all positive input, with all the people there, She will gain a lot of support, and have peace of mind. It works.

buck if they are as big as you think, you would never have posted in the first place. if this is what you have to do to provide for your family then theres nothing to consider.

think about it, or more like this already should have been considered before you made the decision to go truckin.

i just gave it to you plain and didnt sugarcoat it.
