It's gone now, but any of you guys remember Goodales on 84 at the CT/MA state line?....Best breakfast around, some of you Hostess, Hannaford, Stop & Shop, and BB drivers gotta remember that place...Wasn't much parking there for sure, but a good late night stop for some Z's, nice & quiet, couldn't see it from the road, so you had to know that it was there, probably better that way anyway... Remember the time a driver only set his trolly, rig rolled down the hill through the fence and into the big pond they had there......What a mess....
Don't know how it is now, haven't been back there in over 20, but I used to like Dysarts in Bangor, ME too....
Also, there used to be a little diner down in central jersey off the 22, I think it was called the Ranch diner, or something like that, dirt parking lot, only room for about 4 rigs though, good food & good help there too. -

I remember a diner about halfway up 1 from 287 I cannot recall it's name.
I do recall the prices in that #### place I think roast beef was one slice thick as three bible pages for 9.00 come on are you kidding. 20 cent gravy for it was 4 dollars and a dallop of bread for it is 5. No one ate there. -
