It was a joke. That's why i added the bit about him being the same. I didn't peg you as the sensitive type. My apologies.

G.Anthony, I honestly wasn't throwing stones. I am antisocial as well. People generally think you are stuck up because you don't talk to them, but really you have nothing to say, hence the word jerk.

    Anyway, back to gifts. .

Best gift you can give your trainer......if you had a good one who actually trained you and didn't use you as a 2nd logbook.......is reflect on him/her in a positive manner.

Don't wreck. Don't tear up equipment. Don't pickup/deliver late. Be a driver and not a wheel holder.

Give him some Viagra from India. It's cheap on the internet; a little over a dollar a pill.
My brother-in-law can't speak or read English so when he and his wife had been arguing around 2 weeks non-stop, he had a migraine headache. He asked for some American medicine for headaches. I gave him a Viagra from India. Then his wife wanted one for her headache so I gave her 2 blue pills that were sleeping pills. The next day it was like WWIII.
She said he needs to be committed to an asylum.
That was my gift to their marriage and it went as I planned.

    Is this backwards?

I have a good friend who is a trainer. He doesn't get, he gives. Upon completion of training, if the student was a hard worker, he gives them parting supplies. Some get GPS units (that's not a joke), an atlas and truck stop guide, and even cleaning kits for their new ride.

    Slackers? They get Jack Schitte.

When I was training I would always make sure to stick around until after they tested out. The good ones I'd take out for s good dinner at the steakhouse and let them order anything they wanted

The others? They got a recommendation for another 1-2 weeks finishing with a different trainer just to be sure it wasn't an issue with me. It never was.
