    Giltner, Jerome, ID runs decent equipment, but the problem is long, unpaid waits at the port and wallyworld. Then the fuel cards wouldn't always work. 100% reefer joint, so I spend around $400-$500 a week on lumpers, which they immediately take out of your pay. Sometimes you are reimbursed, sometimes not. Good luck

    Wish I knew now, what I didn't know then. Me and a friend started giltner the same time with similar results. When a company starts getting squeezed by the competition, they have a dozen ways to take it out of the drivers pay. If the smart ones quit, who cares, because they will be replaced by new drivers which they pay less to start anyway. They still have my last pay check. When you catch-on to how they rip you off, they have no further use for you.
