    I turned it in at the store, not the fuel island. Had about 20 keys attached by a couple little rings.

    Sounds like an auto transporter dropped their keys. I always put all the keys from the cars I was hauling onto one giant ring so I didn't lose them and they were not in the car to make stealing them easy/

    If that is the case it is going to suck to be them when they get to their destination.
