That's seriously what a few buddies were telling me just to screw the address and live on the truck. My lease to my apartment is up in August so I may just let it go w/o renewal
Girlfriend in Texas cheated already. Should I still go to Midland or another part of Texas

Houston is super congested with traffic.
Corpus Christi, Texas is ok though.
Las Vegas is also good and same as Texas; no personal state income taxes. No winter weather to speak of. Just need a light jacket during the winter months. -
I like Amarillo being in the panhandle of Texas and right on Interstate 40.88228822 Thanks this. -

DFW is a nice area actually. Lived there for 5 years. Little bit of everything. Check out places to rent in small towns East and south of DFW. Good place to stack some cheddar and make your next move

San Antonio is getting worse than Austin traffic wise and I-35 seems like its full 24/7. Even I-10 from tx 130 into city is crazy now. Since around 2008 it is becoming very truck unfriendly as the days go by. They are rebuilding the downtown area for illegals and the evil HIPSTERS. They are slowly pushing businesses out either north east to the Selma/ Schertz area or east to Seguin. They have raised rent and property tax rates to where the folks born and raised here can’t afford to live in the city or in certain areas of Bexar county anymore. The three southern to east surrounding counties of Atoscosa, Wilson, and Guadalupe are getting expensive to buy or own property now. Used to be dirt cheap. Before the beginning of all the growth started in 2005 we bought 6 acres for $50,000 between I-35 and I-10 in Guadalupe (from a farm that was downsizing ) just to work hay. We just paid $5,276 yearly tax on it and it keeps going up. Its now been appraised at worth $278,000 and its just flat land with black clay dirt and coastal grass. It’s Stupid.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
When I was in Austin a few weeks ago, I used the toll roads around the city to avoid traffic. The signs said that they would bill to the registered owner of the vehicle for toll charges. Haven't gotten a bill yet.
