Why would anyone turn in a driver for something they don't know the whole story ?? Sounds like guys enjoys or thinks his job is also to police other drivers.
The truck could be in the shop, who wants to hook king pin lock when you're right their in the parking lot with the trailer.
Don't make everything a crime or huge deal.Derailed, TallJoe and Justrucking2 Thank this. -
That is just anal, and not in a good way.

My answer would be A simply because you don’t know why the driver left the trailer that way he could just be in the shop getting repairs and made an honest mistake rushing. Not Your Business

On one hand, you don’t want to be a rat. On the other, you’d hate to know something happened to that high value load, and you could have prevented it.
I’d say it best to find the driver and work it out and leave management out of it.intrepidor, taodnt and nightgunner Thank this. -
Op What did you do?

i would play it safe and go with option C..
call the marshall's.RedForeman and Justrucking2 Thank this. -
Once I was swimming in Lake Michigan a little too far from the shore. Someone got worried and called 911. Park Rangers came on a boat to rescue me...I declined but they insisted. On one hand, I was not happy about it at all - embarrassment to be hauled back to the beach with with all those onlookers - why don't they mind their own business, I thought. On the other, after some time and thoughtfulness, it was nice to know that someone cared about anonymous human life - in that case unnecessarily though.
Streetroddreams and Justrucking2 Thank this. -
too bad you didn't dive deep and make'em really come out and find you....!!!!!!Dan47 Thanks this.
