Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Sorry , lilrob been turnin miles back to Dallas , its midnight thurs I imagine it's a done deal for ya. When ya get on grainger if ya go East instead of west there is parking behind the Bobs big boy at rt17 and grainger rd. I hope ya found it okay , I found it at 10p and didn't know much about those RxR tracks so I back tracked east to the restaurant.

 

Place was like something from mad max at 10pm with that gate they have. I though dobermans were gonna jump out on me when I walked up to it.

 

Well I'm at GP , will head with a 5 stopper Sat A.M. to GA. I set myself up to grab and go today when mty , but no dice. Got shop finishing up the stuff they couldn't do last weekend , lack of "part availability" send me out last week with a standing shop W/O i guess. The guard gave me a shop printout as I was inbound. Hey anyone around here today , I want to eat something other than vending machine food. If anyone is I'm in 3333 , in the tractor lot getting apu serviced. I'll tag along if we can do that without a rider pass. I have a few snacks but like "FOOD" the real kind.

 

Best to find a ride but I often hike up to the Shell. It's not a bad hike from the car gate. Just walk about 1/2 mile east of the gate. They have good food for cheap price. Double Cheeseburger combo with tons of fries and drink for under $6. The Philly sandwich is good as well. Option if you can't get a BT pass or find a ride. Hope that helps!

Well got my south Motown load off and got another backhaul heading down to Fort Worth for Monday. Wearing out the north and south routes back and forth to DFW which is fine by me at the moment as it seems to be the best weather around. Hoping to get a load heading home after that as I will have been out about 7 weeks and I am getting a tad weary.

 

Yes it is....another good reason why we moved here...LOL

Will be sitting right at 7500 miles when I get to Ft. Worth on Sunday for the month with a preplan to pick up a load at GP heading to Kansas City on Monday. Probably the old Del Monte after that back to GP and hopefully by then a load ready to go home. So a fairly good shot at reaching 10K miles for February by the 25th. After that taking a week or so off to attend to some other stuff and recharge the batteries.
