JD, I'm in the same boat. Got back to the yard only to find that I'm number 42 on the list for an outbound load. Looks like I'm stuck here till at least Friday. Freight is SLOW!
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Well got my home load but isn't ready until 1800 tomorrow but I suppose could be worse. A 5 stopper across TN, NC, SC and finally in NC on Wednesday morning. Probably stop over again to see my mom in Arkansas and treat her to some home cooking. Hopefully this freight lag will be picking up by the time I get to rolling again in March.

Got the call from outbound yesterday afternoon. Had numerous choices for loads leaving Friday(today), but I didn't like any of them. Was asked where I wanted to go (a scratch my back repayment). Said to the NW and was given a four stop load leaving Saturday going to Marysville,WA that I should be able to final out on Thursday morning. So if anyone is going to be in GP tonight I will be on the yard between 1700-1800. I'm thinking dinner with fellow drivers could be nice. Let me know.

You guys be safe in that weather. My trip was loaded early yesterday so I got out of GP by 1200 and made it to Arkansas to spend a couple of days at my mom's before rolling out on Sunday. Things looking ok down the road weather wise for Tennessee and NC. Going to take 6-7 days off to recoup and get back at it in March.
Farky I don't think it is all that bad particularly when we are hauling our own stuff out. On occasion we may have to wait a day or so for a load but generally when we do leave out we are on a long load with pretty decent quick backhauls. I will be over 10K miles for February, albeit I did stay out the whole month with two resets and one day at home on the 28th. Overall averaging a little over 400 miles per day which is quite acceptable by me.
Here is a short synopsis of my runs over the last 5 months as well. I don't think you will find too many companies with this amount of single driver long runs.
Trip miles
0-500 --- 2
501-1000 --- 13
1001-1500 --- 13
1501-2000 --- 13
2001-2500 --- 4
2500+ ---- 1
