Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Well no love for a Friday load but set up decently after that. Requested something headed to Vegas and was told they could accommodate me by first taking a load to University Park for Monday morning and then picking up a load in Appleton, WI that heads to Henderson so that was fine by me as it will keep me rolling most of a week. Probably the same load you had LilRobWayne. Did it actually just go to Poly-West or some other place. Would be nice to drop at facility and then get in some poker playing during the March Madness stuff next weekend as the games are always good during that time

In worse news this receiver is not in a very friendly to get to location. Got told by the receiving office to take Marsh Avenue off I-635, well that right hand turn ain't happening in a big truck so I got back on the interstate and took the next ramp to get turned around so I could hit it head on and wow what some tied ###, consecutive zig zag #### through the frontage road construction stuff. Well I make it to Marsh and no sooner do I get on it than I see a no truck sign Nothing to do but keep on keeping on and hope five-o isn't around as no way to get turned around or off of it. Luck was with me and I made it down to the turnoff. Luck was with me again as they decided to unload me tonight instead of 0600 in the morning which means I can get the hell out of this tight ### place after an eight hour break and scramble back to the yard with 45 minutes of drive time left on my 14 which I should be able to make since I can take off at 0345 and miss the traffic. If you ever have to deliver to Kay Chemicals in Carrollton, TX give me a call and I will try to ease your pain

 

majestyk, that Appleton load will go to Henderson plant. It's machinery.
I'll be on the yard tomorrow around lunch time. I'm on the board for tomorrow bit didn't get a call. So I'm guessing a Saturday or Sunday outbound load will be my fate.

I reloaded in Houston this morning with a two stopper. Dallas then Ft Worth.

 

Just give me a ring if you want to grab lunch. I will probably be napping in my truck if they don't take it in for a PM. Thanks for the info on the drop, should work out well.

Looks like you already got the answer you were looking for. I did do a similar load and it was equipment that dropped out in Henderson. Nice good loads to keep you busy. I ran a southern route from Appleton and they didn't have a problem with it. Not sure what you had in mind but wanted to pass that along. I'll also be on the yard sometime tomorrow(Friday). I plan to be in and out if all goes ok. Need to meet you guys some day. Take care out there!

I'm outbound tomorrow morning going to Brownstown,MI for Monday morning. Already have backhaul info. Pick up in Grand Rapids Monday with two stops. Hattiesburg,MS for Wednesday, then Dayton,TX for Thursday. Hope to get reloaded at Pol-Tex going to Henderson so I can pass thru the house.

Did I mention I love my job?

 

My pleasure JD. My load was ready today when I checked on it this morning so I rolled out early hoping to make it easily to visit my mom in Arkansas but was not to be as I had my first blow out in over 23 years so I guess I was due Two trucks in front of me and about 5 hours later my tire is changed. No biggie as I still have lots of time and plan on stopping in Arkansas tomorrow and rustle up some shrimp fettuccine.

 

Can anyone tell me about the health insurance at poly? Cost, deductible, ect.
