I know what you mean Insurance was very important to me and weighed heavy on me taking a job but it is true the copays are low, no deductible but there are copays for er , hosp visits too but not bad they are privately insured but managed by a large group Cigna and no referrals needed you can go to anyone in network..

Thanks to all the people that responded to my question on insurance. I have went back and read a lot of this thread and Poly sounds like a great place to work. I'm glad there is still a place where drivers can be happy. Driving a truck is not an easy way to make a living but working for a good company makes it a little easier. I don't believe that Poly will hire me because of my health issues but I'll send in an application anyway. Thanks again.

It's not going to hurt to try. I had high blood pressure before coming to work here. It was not an issue.

Does anyone know if Poly hires out of Indiana? Or if they're even hiring at all? My husband faxed in an application on the 8th of February, and I been through this thread enough to know that the process it takes for getting hired is a long one. He's working for Crete, and is really wanting to find a company that treats him better. Any information you guys have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

While things here at Crete have been going well for me of late, I'm just trying to tie up the loose ends on our rental property before I start the app process. Probably a few more weeks.....

I've heard they've slowed down a little on hiring. However, I was told they are still bringing on a few drivers. Shouldn't be a problem being from Indiana. Poly has several places we deliver to in Indiana. Best to keep at them on the hiring process. Do your best to find out if someone can confirm they have received the application. If no response, Fax it again. No harm in expressing your interest to at least know they have the information. The hiring process doesn't have any set rules on how it will all go. Time and process can vary from one person to another. You just got to be sure they have the application. Wish there was more I could say about it but as you've probably read. The hiring process at Poly is it's own animal and just staying after it until you get some kind of answer is the best thing I can suggest. Hope that helps and Good Luck on it!
