You should be real happy in knowing that your only stress for the most part will be the 4 wheelers driven by not so good drivers. Now as you learn to leave more following distance and back off more than you ever did , you almost have stress free trucking. I never in my life thought I could be on the road for 3 weeks plus , and so far I haven't for poly , but there is no doubt I can working here , and won't come home a mean sob.

    Enjoy and welcome aboard !

So as I'm not one to sit a couple days at truck stops when indeed there is a load in line with the house , I head the smartest direction for me. So Mon + Tues home Wed a.m. will head to Garysburg NC for Thurs at 0630.
Left out of the house last Sunday , got home a couple hrs ago , Sun night. I was hoping for something West out of Up-N but nothing that way , 3 to pick from a PA load I would have sat with , a Plainview TX I would have sat on or the Garysburg that puts me at the house , plus got to see my MA that just turned 80 in late Feb , Thurs night for about 4 hr prior to unld at 0700 Fri morn'n in Univ. park IL.

Glad I could help. My son is in the Texas Army National Guard & will be deployed to Kuwait at the end of the month.

We had a good time in Aggieland ( College Station,TX). Got to watch a friend on the softball team play. They are ranked #5 in the NCAA & swept Arkansas this weekend. My son will be using the GI Bill to attend A&M when he returns. ( that is as long as there is still a GI Bill still available)

Being able to manage my time is the biggest thing I would enjoy if I can get on there. Money is good too, but some ability to self-manage is the biggest plus, at least to me. Glad things worked out so well for you, JD!

New Jersey is never easy:) Got a call from backhaul just before finishing off the last drop in Framingham, MA. Picking up a load that I have done before from west central Vermont heading to Pell City, AL. Made it over to the shipper tonight and awaiting to get loaded in a couple of hours. Made it here with no bad weather thus far but all that is due to change over night.
