Hey JD I'm going to go ahead and fill out an app for Poly and see what happens. I have no accidents, clean csa and going on 10 years experience. One question I do have that you may or may not can answer. I worked for 2 companies that went out of business, one in 06, the other in 07. In the employment verification would that be a problem you think? Providing 10 years employment history is not a problem, but those 2 companies may hinder the process. Also I understand that most of you do not solicit referrals, but this has been a very informative thread, so I would like to put you down as one if you don't mind. I live in Tennessee so I think getting home will not be a problem after 3 weeks or so out. I like the pay scale they have, but most important is that they let you do you're job as long as you do you're job. Thanks again from all of you for the wealth of information.
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

You are correct that I do not solicit referrals. That is not what this thread is for. Then again I'm not one to say I wouldn't like one. If you really want to put me, or any of the others, down as a Federal, just sent us a pm & we'll give you the info.
Good luck.Drifter42 Thanks this. -
Miles per week will vary as with any OTR job.Time off will affect this as well. That being said, most weeks I drive over 3k miles, plus 2-8 extra stops at $30. -

Well that was a fast week. Orientation went pretty much as I figured lots of information, filling out paperwork, and learning procedures etc. I met with the different departments and learned how they do things and what to/they expect. I picked out my truck (4 to choose from) hopefully a good pick as it ran good so far. I felt guilty going faster than 62
. I picked a load offer that got me home for the weekend to get the rest of my stuff and will deliver on Monday. So far so good.

Jd, i understand poly does not provide prepass but will allow you to get it at your own expense. I was wondering if i were to get the ez pass for tolls would they reimburse the tolls from the monthly bill?
