Yep, as I understand it, you just have to be very lucky to get on with these guys. I like it because it's alot like trucking used to be. I don't want someone to hold my hand going down the road. Tell me where I gotta be and when I have to be there and/or I'll let you know when I can be there and I'll get it done. Hopeful I get a call in the next few weeks! I'm good where I'm at now but this is something better. H ello! Opportunity knocking...ANSWER THE FREAKIN DOOR! Thanks again for all the useful posts!
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

I've been holding off applying until all the proverbial "ducks in a row" are indeed lined up at home. Unfortunately, it appears it may have to wait yet a bit longer. Got some issues at the house we moved out of and will be turning into a rental, and things are taking a little longer than planned. Was hoping to be ready to apply by April 1st. Looks like it'll be May now.
Rontonio Thanks this. -
Maybe they had to retire! HeHe

Hey Majestyk, when you going to settle down with a truck Young Man! Geez you go through trucks faster than shower credits fall off our Rewards cards(HeHe)! No, hope you get that one and it's a good one for you. I know you've had some unfortunate luck in the trucks department. Eventually you'll get a good one. I plan to try and get home this weekend myself. I've been running these loads from GP to the Southeast for a month now. Not normal for me to want to run in one area that much but got to say it's been nice. Delivered in Houston earlier today and Backhaul just gave me a Pol-Tex load back to GP. Been a nice easy month for sure. I did 3 Florida loads and a couple of Multi-Stop loads to AL and GA. All loads were Backhauled to Texas and were all around 2500 to 2900 miles round trips. Can't complain...ready to get home yet really enjoyed this month out here. Take care out there!

Well finally got out of GP yesterday afternoon. Spent the night at my mom's and made it to Dandridge, TN tonight so should be home by noon tomorrow. Got a pretty good old Freightliner. All in all I think I prefer these older FL's than the Internationals. Nice to have a real APU again.
Going to look at my potential new home tomorrow in Thomasville, NC. Going to get that one or one in Arkansas if the loan goes through. Pretty tough getting a loan for a second house with all of these #### new bank regulations. The owner of the old school house in Thomasville will work with us directly so definitely will be able to get that one. Really excited to get the hell out of Durham.
Well with all of the home time and resets in March I will still be finishing with a little over 9800 miles so not bad. Taking off until the 8th of April then going to be busting ### for the remainder of the month.Last edited: Mar 29, 2013
