Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Just got a call from poly trying to set up fly in for interview on the 28th and 29

 

Don't know of anyone having a fly-in interview that wasn't offered the job. So... congratulations!

 

Update on detention pay...$250 for the ten hours... chuching!

Who do they use for physicals

 

Oh well; i guess it is time for me to put poly in my rear view mirror and move on. not really sure what the problem is but i applied in early march and was told my app was approved but have been obviously passed over for some reason for others that have applied much later than me. i keep hearing that their hiring procedures are peculiar but that is putting it lightly. i have 11 years experience and a perfectly clean record. dont know what more they want. at least i have a good job and several other good opportunities to pursue.
to be honest;the more i heard about poly's insurance i was leaning toward not accepting the job anyway but would like to know why i wasnt considered.

Seen a couple poly trucks going north on 69 in ok today

 

Well the Merritt Island load fell through as it had already been picked up so I rolled on up to Dublin, GA last night to pick up a load of paper. Got the ok to drop it at GP tomorrow and hopefully get something nice for Thursday. Firing the old grill up and going to polish off the last steak and a salmon fillet very shortly. Will be sitting at a shade over 7K miles for the month when I reach the yard tomorrow with good hours to roll

 

Well sitting at home now relaxing and giving the old logbook some much needed rest after some hard running days. Around 4700 miles in 8 days, I must say I am pleased and have to say that I'm glad I moved over to Poly Trucking
