Thanks again for the TS info as I had to put it to use. The big gravel lot next to Sam's with a lot of no parking/towing signs unfortunately in it. Rolling down to Pine Bluff after this load and heading to Ardmore, OK for an early Wednesday morning delivery.

Asked about keeping this Volvo instead of the International that I am in now and was told no problem so going to be switching over again. My truck was still in the shop this morning so hopefully it will be out when I get back Wednesday as this one will be due for service then.

Felt like I was driving through the Twilight Zone this afternoon as I just kept driving and driving and my destination never seemed to get closer:) Long day through the Arkansas state highways and US70 but by gawd pushed on through and came out the other side. Supposedly picking up a load tomorrow afternoon and heading on back home. A couple of days earlier than I had requested but decided I better take it while the taking was good to guarantee I would be home for the 4th. So looks like it will be another 9 day home stand which I can certainly use.

That's a long trek across AR on the US highways. Beautiful, but my gawd it seems to take forever. Enjoy your time off!

I had the same problem with them a few years ago-finally gave up waiting on them. Never had a reply from them.

Guess I could update my travel log since Tacoma,WA two weeks ago.

Reloaded in Summer,WA with two stops 1)OKC 2) Irving,TX. Then I was on my way to Greenfield,IN after which I reloaded in LaPorte,IN going to Northfield,MN. Got a restart there while waiting for appointment to unload.

Next was an outbound from Cottage Grove going to Effingham,IL. Reloaded in Crest Hill,IL going to Cook Rapids,MN. Got another Cottage Grove to Effingham with a d/h in Mundelein,IL going back to Cottage Grove. Then I got a five stop run going to Portland, Or after which I came to Hermiston, OR to load going to Ardmore,OK for this Sunday at 1800.

I will return to GP by late morning on Monday and head for home in my personal vehicle as my truck is due for a PM & I want to spend Independence Day at home.

I will finish the month of June with 12800+ miles.

Did I mention I love my job?

Pretty nice rolling there JD. Will only have 9100 or so miles when I arrive home tomorrow but the real bright side is that I will have had 11 days of home time for the month:) Planning on coming back out on July 8th and probably running hard for the next couple of months. Hopefully they will have the old Volvo all revamped and ready to roll when I get back to GP so I can get out of this Maxxfarce thing before it breaks down again. Hope everyone has a nice weekend and a good Independence Day.
