Well things working out ok this afternoon. Managed to get a call from outbound with quite a few decent loads. I decided to take a 4 stopper which delivers all in Oregon. Should be some beautiful driving the whole way up as I am going to take the back roads through New Mexico and Utah. Also traveling into the inner regions of Oregon which I have not had the chance to see before so really looking forward to that, particularly being that there shouldn't be any snow to make things difficult
Also the old Volvo is out of the shop and I spent a couple of hours sweating my balls off moving all my stuff over but she is purring like a kitten. Will be glad to be able to restock my grilling supplies and burn some charcoal over the next few days.

I really do hope they never win the W/S ... The planet might crack in half . -
P O S , I said no , thats what mine is.
His list was short due to many needing alternate trucks. So I'm still in the shop commando. -
Well finally got called about 3 pm yesterday to D/H to Barberton Ravago for a load to Waller Tx , I'm figuring to head up to G.P. about noon on Friday from poltex anything else would be a surprise to me.

I still haven't gotten my application in, but it should be ready to go in the next couple of days. Here's a question for you guys:
On the application, it asks if it's ok for them to call the company I'm currently working for. Is that a bad idea, or do you think it's a necessary thing to allow? I drive for Roehl and just don't want to be "blacklisted" or something similar if they find out I'm looking around at other companies. If I say "no" to this, will that disqualify me for Poly? What would/did you do on this? -
I don't think it will be a problem. My terminal manager asked me if I had applied to Poly when at Crete and I just told him yeah and it wasn't a problem. I don't think most places will hold it against you. If they have a load to move and you are in the area you are going to get the load. If hired on just give Roehl at least a two week notice and you should be fine.

On my app I did ask them not to call my last job (mbm) unless their on the last part of the interview. But I believe all they ask them for is a recent driving record.
