Someone forgot to tell me about it as well. Guess you'll be finding out in a week or two. Let us know if you get something. However, I never want to get a DOT Inspection. That's just crazy talk. To many bad things can come from it. Even if it pays for a good one it 's not worth the risk of getting checked and having something bad. Glad yours went ok again this time. I trust my stuff would be ok as well. However, I never would WANT a DOT Inspection. What is MOJO thinking? HeHe

There use to be a $25 Wal-Mart gift certificate for a clean inspection. No more.

I was on the outbound board for this past Thursday but didn't receive a call till Thursday afternoon about 1500. I was given a laundry list of really good loads & chose one (Hooksett,NH) I hope will give me maximum miles & have me back in GP by Friday afternoon.

My wife is driving up from the home 20 again so we can use some vouchers for a ride along experience at Texas Motor Speedway that she won during a silent auction a year ago. Also while I'm off having fun my truck will be due for it's 100k mile checkup, whatever that entails.

I received my backhaul info Friday afternoon around 1530. I pickup two stops going back to Jacksonville,TX. Only problem is the first pickup has a window of 0001-1000 & it's 95 miles away from Hooksett in Bethlehem,NH. I unload in Hooksett at 0700. I will arrive early to Hooksett in hopes of getting in/out early. I sure don't want to wait till 0001 Tuesday to load the first stop. My hope is to have both stops loaded by late Tuesday morning (second pickup is in South Plainfield,NJ) & deliver to Jacksonville by late Friday morning. We'll see.

My company adds an extra vacation day for each passing DOT inspection.

Its just the confidence talking lol..To go from a company where you had to be a outlaw , always over weight, two log books at times and crappy equipment, I'm in cloud 9 right now. Lmao..

Nothing wrong with having confidence in your work. Sounds like things are going pretty good for you out there as well. It's nice to be able to run without having the stress of being an outlaw just to make ends meet. I picked up a load out of GP going to Lebanon,OR for delivery tomorrow(Monday). Already have a BackHaul lined up to pick up right after I deliver. BackHaul load goes back to Fort Worth,TX. Back to back 2200 mile loads with no stress. I'm lovin it! Good luck getting a West Palm. Take care out there! :)

They called me on Friday with 35 loads for monday. Long story short I got my west palm... But when I got on the yard Saturday morning I hated myself cause I misunderstood the 34 hr restart. They had a notice at work saying the 7 day count started when you go off duty to start your 34 hr restart. I was thinking it was 7 days after you come back from your restart... I coulda went to taylor or something farther instead of west palm. But oh well now ill know for the future.

Good deal you got the load you wanted. Lots of people misunderstand the new restart rule. Another driver I know thought the same thing you did. I had to have him read the rule like two or three times to get him to understand it. He was upset with himself for cutting himself short a couple of weeks ago. Glad to hear there were lots of loads coming out of GP.
