Looks like some of the other drivers have given you some good answers from my one experience there. I recommend you try and buy you a Glad Hand air hose when you get a chance. Very important to keep up with the pressure on these Super single tires. That hose is super handy to have. I mainly mention it so I can tell you that you can buy it and then turn in the expense for it on your trip. I know you asked about air on the yard and JD gave you the answer I would've given you had he not done so already. Hopefully the other info helped as well.

There is also a trailer shop on the NW corner of the Up North facility. I am not sure what hours it is open but certainly during normal working hours.

Amazing only 4 loads left for today and I had been on the board for 12 days but as usually something worthwhile in the bunch:) Taking a two stopper that delivers in West Jefferson, OH on Monday and finals out on Tuesday morning in Amsterdam, NY. Gets me over the holiday with some real nice miles. Will be my first trip into the great NE in maybe 6 months or so:)

Did not know they reimbursed for that. Gonna buy one once I get back on the road. Thanks for the tip. Do most of you run 105 steers and 110 to 115 on drives?

Those are the air pressures I use.

I'll be in GP about 1800 today. Anybody else?

You're Welcome! Glad the tip might help. I run the Steers at 105 and the drives at 100. I get really good wear at those numbers and the shop supervisor said those are the numbers they like to use. I mainly pay attention to not letting them get to low on those drives. Hate to have one get to low and put me down on the side of the road.

Took almost a weak but finally made it all the way through the thread. Big thank you to all you guys who post has been some interesting reading. My original plan was to wait till my 3 yr anniversary with my current employer which is next march but have decided to give it a shot, who knows. Been trucking for 24 yrs with no accidents and no tickets in at least 5 yrs. Live in central Virginia so pretty sure that will work. If I am lucky enough to get on dinner is on me,thanks again and be safe.
