Cool deal. You will need to go to the gift shop and sign up for a Players Card. Then take that to the check in desk with your truck number and License plate number and show them your CDL and they should give you a free room. Movie theatre is just left of the Buffet room entrance up the stairs there. Also an elevator if you don't want to hike the steps.

I think you can probably get multiple nights particularly Sun-Thursday.

Rolled in and out with no problems and made it to Alamo tonight. That Costco is also a stickler on appt. times radio so try not to show up until 30 minutes or so to your appt time.

It's better to wait. They don't care how often you stay for free. However, not two nights in a row. Not sure why it's that way. I usually stay in the truck the first night then stay in the room the 2nd night. Not like you can't be in the Casino doing whatever you want. I hang inside and do stuff then just go sleep in the truck. Then get up and check into a room as early as they'll let me.
They have some good food deals from time to time. Lots of trucker specials and if you see that buy one buffet and get one free that just means you'll pay half price if it's just you. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have more questions or whatever. Glad to pass on the info.

He's going up 93 like most of us do. Alamo is just a little south of the 93 and 318 split. He'll most likely go up that 318 to Ely then on up 93 to Twin Falls,ID. From there it's 84 on to 82 and over the mountains to hwy 18 and on in to Sumner. I've ran it a lot as have many here. Any questions just hit us up.

So I should go up 318 or stay on 93. Which is best. I have no qualms about running back roads just watever way is best.

Well, both roads take you to Ely as you can see. 318 has less hills to pull. It is also a little shorter and a little faster. However, no cell phone or radio service on it. 93 has a little more to look at and cell phone works and so on. Both routes are fine. Working at Poly you'll get plenty of chances to try out both. Flip a coin and do one and then try the other way next time. Hope that helps a little. :)

Just FYI, two weeks ago I replaced the original mattress in the bunk. After 10 months with a fat butt wallowing on it was not in bad shape, but I wanted to try an idea I've had for a couple of years. With approval from the shop I threw away the old and installed the new.

The new is an air mattress purchased at Wal-Mart from the sporting/camping section. I bought one with self inflating capability. So far I really like it, although it sits a little high. I can adjust the firmness and my twin size memory foam topper fits perfectly. On this trip out west I realized it was nessecary to deflate it some every morning while traversing the mountain regions.

My thought is that this $30 expendature (tax deductable) will allow me to adjust my bed to any firmness I desire and should last me for a long time without cratering.

Got the old Blaine stop knocked off tonight. Unfortunately not a great back haul as I pick back up in Selah, WA heading to Henderson. Would be great but can't deliver until Monday. So looks like a reset in Vegas playing some poker which ain't all that bad. Hope to pick up another Blaine trip on Monday.
