Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Hope all goes according to plan FL-T.

I'm currently at the 228 exit in Albany,OR waiting to deliver in the morning at Lowe's DC in Lebanon,OR. I left GP a week ago (last Sunday) and finally arrived. However, I did get to spend four days in SLC with the wife and kids visiting the in-laws, per my request. BUT.....my backhaul doesn't pickup till Wednesday in Boring,OR going to Winnsboro,TX for Monday. Hoping I can p/u and deliver early.

 

Husband called me during lunch break on his first day of orientation. He's nervous about the road test because it's been about 5 years since he's driven a sleeper and pulled a 53' trailer. I told him he'll be fine. I have every faith in him! He's pretty darn awesome, if I do say so myself.

 

Tell him stick as far out in the intersection as possible then turn it hard. LOL

 

Hurry up and waiting...... hope they call soon to tell me to be there Tuesday for orientation.

 

I just talked to the guy that road tested him. He said your husband performed just fine. Sounds like things are going pretty well for him so far. Hopefully things work out well for both of you. Good luck with everything. Take care out there.

 

Hey, thanks so much for the update! I knew he would do well. After everything I've read on these forums, I'm glad we chose Poly. I hate that he's going to be back OTR, but then again, he always joked that once our girls hit the teenage years, he would go back OTR. Well, the oldest will be 13 in a few months, so....I guess it wasn't much of a joke! Ha!

 

Weeeee just got the call. I feel all awesome and red now.
