Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

I faxed in my application about a week ago and got a call from Poly yesterday afternoon. She said they would like to fly me down for an interview, so it sounds like things are looking good so far. Great way to finish up the week!

The underwriter sent our file back to ask for clarification on a couple of our deposits in our checking account, as that's what we're using for down payment and closing costs. It's just the 401k from his previous employer and our tax refund, so we should be good to go. Just waiting for them to review it, AGAIN....

 

Yep, it sounds like you are getting pretty close. More than likely, they want to be able to find out where the deposits are coming from so they know you didn't borrow money to put it into your account for the down payment. If you had borrowed it, they would have to add the payments on that loan into your debt to income ratios. If you can show that it isn't borrowed money, you should be just fine.

I have one strange question for you. Did you try sending me a private message? I tried opening one that looked like it was from you and it disappeared. This has been happening to me lately for some reason.

 

No, I haven't sent any messages at all recently. Weird...

And yeah, I told my husband that the fact that they are asking for clarification on the deposits leads me to believe that we will be approved. They would have denied us instead of asking for clarification, I would think. Fingers crossed we hear back soon! I can't wait!!! Then I just have to get the kids to start helping me pack... We'll be doing it all by ourselves, and just have my husband fly home to help load up the uhaul and then drive to our new house, and then back to work for him! What a way to spend your home time, lol. But we'll have more home time after the move, so it'll be worth it!

 

Hey, is that a boxer in your avatar pic? I love boxers. I used to have one - lost him about a year and a half ago. He was a great buddy.

 

Nope, he's an American Bulldog! He's our 105lb baby, lol. They do look similar to Boxers, though.
