Hey, just wanted to thank everyone for all the good information on here. It's nice to get on here and read tips on places to stay and places to park and so on. I'm looking forward to a couple of days break from the truck in Vegas! Seems weird for me getting to kind of mix my work with a place I have only gotten to enjoy while on vacation in times past. I love Vegas or at least my vacations there have been Awesome. We used to fly out for a week's vacation about every 3 or 4 years. I've seen many changes in my times there. I'm going to enjoy being there once again. Anyways, thanks again everyone and take care out there! :)

Does Poly still have a no pet policy? Still have my navigator of ten years riding with me :) I know how to get there. She knows how to get home

Do any of the drivers run a more regional route? Like TX, LA, AR, MS, KS, NM, TN, ETC. Or are all drivers expected to take the long hauls?

Out bound you choose. Then back haul brings you back. So ya y Po u can choose shorter regional routes.

I can do over 3000 miles and never get out of TX on a weekly basis with my current company. I'm not at all unhappy here but if I can run the same way as I have been running and make $.10/mile more I'd be crazy not to try, right?

Well think about it does it matter really how far away you are? They get you back to TX either way.

I understand, but I do enjoy being at home every weekend or almost every weekend. Now my wife and kids are getting used to me being around a lot more again. I can also take care of my lawn again without turning into a weed patch after being gone for 2-3 weeks at a time.

You just don't put your self in the board for the day you return. You put it out X days out. Then you have all the home time you want. As long as you run the 8000 a month. One driver that is on this board. Runs 3 weeks then takes like 10 days off.
