I'm going to sleep on it and probably drop thrm an APP , it's time I made a move out of the food truck industry . Can you average 2000 paid miles a week there
(That would be my main question) Also do they have decent trucks ?(and how fast do they run ?)
They mention paper logs on the response from.the recruiter , that makes me nervous , why r they not on electronic logs ?
I just left a company that was sued into collapse due to an accident wherr paper logs were involved.
Any more helpful info would be appreciated.

I realize this thread has gotten quite long, however if you read the first 20 pages I believe all your questions will be answered.

That said, we use paper logs but are required to run legal, & they do check. 2k miles a week? That's what we are required to average at the minimum.

    Mev and LilRobWayne Thank this.

I have the impression looking back.through the old post a person must be perfect to get on at Poly , not being perfect I'm going to give it a try anyways. So if they say no ....at least I gave them a try.It may be my destiny to be a low paid food driver the rest of my days, who knows .

I dreamt last night I was doing my interview at Poly and most all the drivers were up the hill across the grassy meadow, by the pear tree. Yup, only 1 pear tree on the whole 800 acres. Plus they let me wander thru the plant, white lab coated workers making something big in an injection mold, alarms going off. It seemed so real.

But I sleep awful when my head is below my feet. But I wake up lost when I sleep with my head on the passenger side

Back through PW this afternoon to drop off the transfer load and pick up another load heading to Blaine. My regular truck was on the yard so I switched over everything and busted a move up to one of my favorite stops, the old torn down Alamo truck stop. Peaceful grilling on a beautiful night.

Poly looks to have some serious home time, can't help but notice this reading back through the older post.I'm noticing 5 and 7 days off and then mega miles until the logs go flat and then more off time

The time off policy is very nice. Allows the driver much flexibility for personal time. All that is required is the 2k miles a week average.
