Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Anyone have any experience with the Best Buy in Flower Mound, TX in regard to overnite parking? I have a delivery at 0530 on Thursday and would like to be able to get there Wednesday night. Can't get anyone on the phones to find out any info. Thanks for any help.

 

According to another driver there is parking available. I would check satellite image to verify.

I would try and go on in there if it were me. Best Buys are closed at night and with that appointment time you could just go in and park at the dock. Unfortunately I haven't been to that one. I have stayed at other locations with appointments like yours with no problems. A lot of times there are other places close by you find once you get into it. Sorry I'm not much help on this one. Well, my maiden voyage is still going quite well. Once I made it through the house and loaded up some stuff I made my way up to my first drop in Syracuse,NY. I arrived there last night(Monday) and delivered this morning. Then made my way to the Target in Wilton,NY. Once there I was able to check in and drop my trailer in a door for unload. Nice part was they let me bobtail out to the truck stop while they unloaded the trailer. Got a call shortly after eating some dinner that they were done. Went back and checked out with no issues. Heard from Backhaul earlier in the day about my Backhaul pick up. Guess I'll be picking up in Niagara Falls,NY and taking a load to Houston for a Monday delivery. If all goes well I can run it down and squeeze in a restart before it delivers. So, looks to be a really good start. That'll be right at 3800 miles in 8 days with a restart to boot. Still glad I made the move to Poly!

Indeed lots of parking at Best Buy here in Flower Mound. Stopped by the terminal on the way here because I got the news that my other truck was still not repaired after over a week and wanted to see what was up. Fortunately they are only waiting on a couple of parts for an air leak which hopefully will be there tomorrow.

The only load available for tomorrow is the Sam's load to KC which I did a couple of weeks ago. Wish there was something else but no love there. Just hope that I don't have the same back haul load as last time as they took way too long to load me but just going to roll with the punches I suppose and hope to get something good this weekend.

Really hope to get my other truck back by this weekend as this one starting to build up a few problems.

 

Thanks for the update on the parking at that Best Buy. Glad it worked out ok for ya. Sounds like the Thursday outbound board isn't that good. I got my Backhaul picked up in Niagara Falls today. Glad to be heading south. Weather is getting worse and the Toll roads are eating my lunch. Already spent over $300 running around on them. Miss having EZPass. Geez! Good luck with that KC Load.
