After getting back to gp. Fueled and grabbed a transfer load to henderson. Then going to loveland. After fueling at gp. The truck kept randomly shutting down? Then ok today after fueling in Albuquerque? Bad fuel at GP? Any one else notice there truck running ruff or shutting down after fueling in GP the last few days. There's a loaner at henderson. I might still switch even if it still runs smoothly tomorrow. One of the headlights has a short.
Glad I moved over to Poly Trucking

Picked up a RoadRunner load this morning. Over gross by 60 pounds but managed to get it workable by sliding the 5th wheel a couple of notches and had enough miles to burn off some fuel before hitting a scale so all is good thus far. Two dropper to OKC and back to Irving. Overnighting at one of my favorite stops in Montana. Grill warming up for some pork.

they want me to come in for a interview next week...will someone who works there inbox me your phone number to talk about them...I have a few questions

Majestyk, I have a question about your grilling..are you using charcoal or propane or something else?
I love grilling and would like to charcoal grill after I shut down but don't know where I could safely let the coals burn down and get rid of them without some nutjob messing with it or stealing the grill ( I have a small one that I can cook steaks/boil water on ). I don't like propane grilling as I like the taste using charcoal. -
I use charcoal. I did have one beat up grill stolen about 1.5 years ago. After that picked up a folding grill which fits well inside of the passenger door (10.00, Wal-Mart). I use relatively small amounts of charcoal (just enough to get the job done) and just let it burn out over night (unless there is significant wind in the area.) I try to pick up a few pieces of juniper when I can so I can add those to the fire after grilling and enjoy some nice smelling flames when I am in the sticks and am not in a rush the next day.
Livininabox Thanks this. -
Nope wasn't bad fuel..... LOL switched trucks in Henderson. This truck is ok. Only went a few miles front end was shaking some but smoothed out just the last few miles before stopping for the night. Now find out no rear cab power no light's no APU. Flsh light and idle we go. Heheee.....

Yeah I usually stop at the Ridley's in Ely, NV when I head back out. They have a decent meat department and some good bakery stuff. Five 600+ days to start out the gate with. Delivering in OKC tomorrow and probably roll on down to Irving to finish this load out before doing a reset. Be glad to be done with this RR load.

Well.... I won't be going 15 to 70 again anytime soon. Henderson to Loveland. That way has some long climbs and all ready has ice and snow coming thru vail.
What route do others take? 40 to 25? -
Sitting in Green River, WY now load in morning going to Houston.
