Ya I don't think they made it seen a coroner truck going by a few miles later. Ughhhh could have been passenger.

I finally figured it out , it's not one little thing after another at Poly.
Its the one big thing...we're ignored , it's as simple as that.
Poly ignores pretty much everything a driver needs

Good Trucks
Good trailers ( yes I've had a trailer shut me down on the road shoulder )
Good shop
Reliable shipping dept. ( 8 hours late today for example )
Left for dead on breakdowns
Motel reimbursement ( it takes up to 6 weeks to get your own money back )

So the word is ...." ignore ".

I realized this the other day at PGP, drivers were complaining about the
same old stuff and not seeing the whole picture behind it.
Its obvious now.

does it make for a trusting relationship with the employer ... No

the hub pay had me so blind I couldn't see it until now.

Well the old North Vernon, IN load completed. Had parked at the Super WM there the other time with no problem. This time had someone come out and tell me they didn't allow big trucks to park there but that it was ok as long as I was out by 0600. So no problem as I had a 0530 appt. Picking up a load tomorrow in New Albany, IN and 900ing it in Grand Prairie and then hooking up to my transfer to Henderson. Going to be back to back to back 700+ mile days to get me there on Christmas Eve but plan on gettin' her done

Fixing to meet someone that I have had communication with over the internet for 10 years or so but never met in person. One of the perks of driving around the country when you happen to roll into a friends neighborhood with a little down time.

 

Heck I pay my guys hub miles $0.46 to $0.52 ( call in miles on Friday on company supplied cellphone $ in the bank on Monday ) and fix / replace the trucks and trailers and I still get some that complain , by reading the posts on this thread your complaints are legit

 

ive parked in that walmart a few times, used to be alot of trucks that parked on the right side if ur lookn at the front but they had containers on that side an no room to park so i parked on otherside but not much room and wasnt sure if they allowed it anymore

 

There was me and one other truck last night on the side closest to the truck entrance. Hopefully they will continue to allow parking if you leave out early as it is pretty convenient for that delivery.
