Got a question. I have only read a few pages so I may have just not seen the answer.

I saw where the driver is not reimbursed for tolls in Texas. Isnt Poly Trucking right off of 161 in Grand Prairie? 161 is a toll road so you have to pay out of pocket to go to the yard???

I'm in agreement with JD about his response to this Post. I also smell a Troll. Seems there always has to be one person out there trying to stir up something. I'm not even sure if Halfburn read what he/she Posted. I mean which is it? Have their own company? Or Have a boss? I had a very good Thanksgiving Halfburn. Poly helped make that possible by getting me home as I requested. Hope everyone else enjoyed their Thanksgiving.

You are correct about Texas Tolls not being paid at Poly. However, you can get into Poly several ways without having to pay the 161 Toll. Most drivers are shown two or three ways to come in while in Orientation. Each driver does a road test with Poly. That road test requires drivers to leave the Poly property and return. Each driver will drive out and then back in using at least two of the ways not requiring them to drive on the 161 Toll road. Hope that helps answer your question. Not a problem getting in or out without using 161.

    nascarchuck Thanks this.

It has been a wonderful Thanksgiving at home with my family. Backhaul called me Friday and I have a pickup in Cincinnati on Monday that delivers in Arlington TX on Wednesday. I put myself on the outbound list for Wednesday and hope to do some shorter Midwest loads this week due to a mandatory drivers meeting that I must get back for on Dec 8. Hope everyone had a blessed week.

It is a once a year meeting to go over issues that crop up during the year with operations, benefits etc. I don't know if they want me to post internal operations stuff on a public forum so I will check before I divulge the contents of the meeting.
