I haven't posted lately because it's always the same info. I've been taking loads to the northeast and southeast with the occasional up north runs.
I've been in loaners far to often lately in my opinion but so far this year my only breakdown that really cost me was labor day week. Needed a new water pump and it took about 10 days for Rush south of cleveland to get it fixed.
Seems like we are still losing drivers but some people just can't figure out how to get it done here.

With all that being said I'm coming up on 2 years here and I still like it. To me it's far better than most of these carriers you here about.

As of pay period ending October 15th I've driven 95,450 miles and have grossed $50,904.50 ytd.

I would probably leave poly also to work for wal mart but I don't know if I could get hired on there. One they probably don't hire out of Florida often and I've heard things like they have a max bmi you can have now. I'm like 6'5 330 don't think i would be under the max lol.

theres a porterville driver i know thats over 300 lbs & he got hired on, he was living in ms & they hired him in ca
he says he couldnt be happier,
& also , you can get hired at one dc & then a year later you can request a transfer to any dc in the country , & also , you dont know about getting hired on, until you give it a try

They got a big parking lot. Don't know if you can stay overnight.
Try it, if they so no, then hit the truck stops 20 miles
    Away in Ann Arbor.

Definitely parking here. Now just hoping I can get unloaded ahead of time because I will have a really tight time frame for my pick up in Indiana if I don't.

I know it's been a few months since you and I discussed this. And yes i threw some numbers in there a little higher than the norm , probably as a tool more than anything else to help make the point. Fact is though , even governed at 68 , 500 a day for 8 consecutive days is not hard and 4k miles driven. To us it's a cake walk. To society , it sounds crazy.
Now add 100 per day and you're talking 4800 miles. Actually , if you are really efficient, and in a mode you sometimes can manage a 34 hr restart late into day 6 or really early like 1am day 7. Be in the right place make your deliver stay an additional 3 or 4 hrs, complete it then show your delivery and never skip a beat. But this is beast mode, I've done it on rare occasion, like when the money is falling out of the trees and you want to gobble it all up. I might do this over a month maybe once in 16 months. I'm no youngster anymore and a bad back.

    28 Thanks this.
