When did they start going to all these night
    deliveries in Florida and Georgia.
They used to all be early morning deliveries.

Haven't been to Florida in about 2 years.
I can never get those loads.
And I'm not gonna sit around waiting for them.

Your really screwed getting out of there at 1 am.

    LtlAnonymous Thanks this.

Late night just recently as far as I can tell
.... I live near CP so I’m always in that zone

I would assume ( therefore I could be wrong ) that since Poly often struggles to load on time they pushed things out on the delivery end in order to assure an on time delivery and avoid rescheduling
    the load .

    That’s just my guess

    :dontknow:

At other companies, Georgia was always pretty good to me. But Florida not so much. I think that's just the way it is for that state.

You can always get a parking spot in Florida
    anytime at the weigh stations.
Nobody wants to park at the weigh stations though.

    Zangief and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

    I park at them.
I talked to the DOT inside first.

Cross the scale on your way in.
Park in the back, after your 10 hour break you
    Take the bypass lane out.
You don't have to cross the scale again.

They do have nice clean bathrooms in that
    Little drivers building.
Couple of junk food machines too.

    Nice and quiet too.

48Packard, 28 and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

I was also told at orientation that poly will reimburse for paid parking south of I4 in Florida. I have never tested this personaly though in that state.

The entire state of Washington is also reimbursement zone for parking. I once paid $15 to park at a hotel lot in Washington and got reimbursed.

They didn't tell the rest of us about either one of those.
But they never tells us anything anyway.
That's just the way I like it.

Ok, the third area is New York State, and all New England states northeast of New York. I have only been in the NorthEast once and didn’t have to get paid parking so I haven’t tested that one either.
