I used to put a kingpin lock on my trailer years ago. One time I left the house in a hurry and grabbed the wrong set of keys. No time to go get my keys so I knocked it off with a hammer and was on my way. Glad hand, king pin locks and locking fuel caps are quick and easy to get around - not going to deter any thief.
Gladhand Locks, Kingpin Locks vs GPS tracking: Which do You Use?

I guess I was conflating the Warlock style cover with the enforcer durability. Looks like the enforcer would work pretty good. Hard to get a solid hit on something that rotates.rollin coal Thanks this. -

I'd relocate the truck gladhands to the back of the frame and install a 2nd electrical plug back there as well. Then relocate all the trailer connections underneath. Not fool proof but very few trucks are setup that way and it'd be a #### show trying to get out of a lot in a hurry with your trailer.
You could even put quick connects for the airlines behind the sleeper so you can plug in whip lines and be ready to pull any trailer if need be.Vampire, 77fib77, rabbiporkchop and 2 others Thank this. -

Anti theft devices are best hidden so that only the owner knows where they are. Install a 1/4 turn valve somewhere on the emergency line under the trailer. Between the gladhand and the brake valve. Plenty of real-estate to pick an easy spot to access and only takes a second to disable and it’s cheap.
Now you’re down to caging the brakes to move it, or figuring out why the stupid trailer won’t air up.
Same thing goes for tractors. Find a way to disable it electronically so it won’t crank. Or cranks but won’t start. Something as simple as pulling an ECM fuse or relay.Last edited: Apr 16, 2023

If you can get to it before it’s stripped or the tag is found and detroyed.
Buddy of mine had his wife’s brand new Mercedes ripped. 3 guys with a tablet jumped in it and took off inside of 10 minutes. Got the whole thing on camera. Tracked the car to a warehouse 1-1/2 hours away and on private property. Took the cops 2 days to get to it. The car was destroyed and all the fast moving stuff was stripped. -
See GPS Tracker Detectors.
You can buy such locators on Amazon.
