I wonder how long wood would last if we could burn wood world wide when ever we felt like it?

I've got a couple of brush piles waiting to go up in smoke. The Forestry Dept gets prescribed burn days, The farmer that grows tree's to produce whatever the crop must prune and remove the dead or diseased trees, tree harvesting for lumber has their share of burn days, i guess the list could go on.

 

i suppose if one were inclined to do so could always use the old compost pile for heating purposes instead. might need a chipper for brush and some creative thought.

Was just called by a LA city worker. He says CARB is setting up at castaic scale by magic mountain i-5n. I'm unable being in AZ to verify this.

Anyone on I-5???

 

heading sb went by Castaic day before yesterday about 0600 , didn't notice anything unusual then.
