Here is something I tried to explain earlier. This is a truck titled as a 2000 year model. Look closer and you find it was built in the year 1999. It all seems to be about the build date, not the year on the title. But then again it seems to be all about the engine build date, not the chassis if I'm reading the exemption correctly.

its the motor not the chassis.2ws is a 1999 motor,6nz is a 2000 motor

But there may be a time shortly when the EPA will kill the gliders.

I was told by a multiple dealerships that January 1st all gliders must meet the current emission standards.
