Gliders with engines older then 2000 are elog exempt

    If I didn't mind jumping out and raising the hood... I could do without that 1 wire too lol ;). My 8V92TA in the Transtar needs 40 psi air & 1 wire to kill it!

    IMG_1254.JPG IMG_1257.JPG Here is something I tried to explain earlier. This is a truck titled as a 2000 year model. Look closer and you find it was built in the year 1999. It all seems to be about the build date, not the year on the title. But then again it seems to be all about the engine build date, not the chassis if I'm reading the exemption correctly.

    its the motor not the chassis.2ws is a 1999 motor,6nz is a 2000 motor

    I was told by a multiple dealerships that January 1st all gliders must meet the current emission standards.

    I read on the OOIDA website this morning, that the EPA is going to "revisit" the proposed new regs on big trucks. It specifically menttioned gliders. So maybe there will be some hope that the Trump administration is goin to reign in the EPA a litlle.

    I don't know what's true anymore because the sales guy has sold us previous gliders in the past.
