I don't know what all was involved in getting that sticker, the dealer told me that he just had to order one from Cat, based on the serial number. You may be able to do that as well.

You know, it's kinda funny. I've bought about every other part you can think of from Cat, yet I've never 1 time ever worried about those dam stickers lol....never thought I'd need them. I always liked the way a nice clean cat yellow engine looked without them, cmon.

On mine, the sticker that shows the date of manufacture is so faded that I don't think it would have shown in a photo. I'll get the date of manufacture for you if you like.

    Nice and clean as well!
Other than the obvious beauty of the new truck, how are you enjoying vs your blue truck?

It's rides alot better that's for sure. Lots more room too.

I had an W900 a long time ago and I've missed it. So far this one is doing a great job.

The whole reason for the sticker, attached to the engine on a diesel truck, on a car it is a decal somewhere in the engine compartment is to notify the mechanic that the engine must be repaired according to EPA specs for that engine for that EPA model year. Technically it is a felony for anyone to repair the engine otherwise, which of course is widely ignored except in the case of authorized engine and OEM dealers who can get huge fines for ignoring that regulation.
And until a few years ago when CARB started rattling everyone's chain about it and now the whole ELD thing it affected very few individuals.
