I was using Ropers for fueling gloves but they get so dirty you cannot touch them without getting your hands dirty. I tried Mechanics gloves but the diesel soaks right through. Any suggestions? I hate getting into a clean truck with dirty hands!

Costco have great 3-pack leather gloves for good price.
TGUNKEL Thanks this. -
Walmart has some gloves that'll work but you have to pay a good price for them.Mine cost$16.00.

I just buy cheap Leather Gloves.
When they get bad, I throw them in the trash.
Don't know how you would prevent them from getting real dirty anyway.
Since they were cheap I don't worry about throwing them away. -
The gloves I have work great for fueling the landing gear and pulling tandems.Id rather spend alittle bit for a long lasting pair of gloves rather then keep buying cheap ones.Considering how many pairs you go thru, might as well pay a price and get your moneys worth.

Why are you putting your hands in the fuel? I have more problems with 5th wheel grease than I have with fuel.
$5.99 neoprene work gloves from Harbor Freight. Fuel will soak through those also. But if you don't put your hands in the fuel, it's a non-issue. -
Google "rubber coated gloves". $3-4 a pop at Walmart, Lowe's, etc. I don't recall ever visiting a major truck stop and not seeing them for $5-6.
Lady K Thanks this. -
The gloves I use will run you a hundred bucks I have them with me whether I'm stringing wire or loading whatever. You learn real quick not to lay them down or loose them. I get about 6 months to a pair. Elk skin I believe is what they are

I pay like, $4 for a 3 pack of split leather cuffs and I get like, a months work out of the pack. That means I pay $28 a year and get to wear a new pair of gloves almost every week.
Roaddreamer and windsmith Thank this. -
I get about a 30 pack of latex gloves for $3 and wear them under my leather gloves which cost $5. Works pretty well, my hands always stay clean.
Badmon, Roaddreamer and BrianE Thank this.
