Somebody has been in the truck alone for way to long and needs to home and take a ride on the D. It would surely help you cope with your current mental status. Smh

I'm out of a truck little guy and I'm getting others out as well by showing them a better life and more money. You keep turning circus tricks for peanuts buddy, I'll think of your pitiful earnings as I continue to be successful out of a #### truck.

Can I see the better life? I need it quick though, not 6 years later or next year.

I’m way late to this thread but a couple days ago I got a OOS violation for a leaking tire that happened while I was going through Donners Summit. The cause of it was a broken link off a snow chain, which that whole road is LITTERED with them. I got it fixed within 2 hours by my company but they still stuck me with an OOS. Funny thing is, it wasn’t even an officer who inspected me but a “civilian inspector” whatever TF that means. And when the trooper came over to check his findings, he never read it with a tire gauge and just looked at it and said yep that’s flat. When in fact they were both being dishonest because I got out and checked for myself and it still had air in it! It had a leak from the broken link. How is that my fault? It’s out of my control as to why that happened. So now I have 30 points on my PSP. All I gotta say is #### this profession and the scumbag DOT, law enforcement, or anyone associated with purposely screwing hard working honest truck drivers over. They have far too much power for people with low IQs and have clearly been bullied all their lives to get enjoyment out of doing this to folks who are just trying to make a living. I’m done with this profession. We have no control and one inspection some loser officer can just give you as many violations as they want because it’s their word versus yours. Can you please tell me what it is you’re doing to help people free themselves from this clown world profession? It’s insane to me that as much as we do, and haul all these ungrateful peoples #### to their stores, provide supplies, medical equipment, ammunition etc etc. yet they treat us like trash. It makes me just hate humanity in general. There’s no empathy and our law enforcement is a joke. They’re undertrained and psychologically unfit to be what they are. I hate em.

Oh yes you can. The company I came from kept hiring the biggest idiots they could possibly find. And then every week they were sending out messages “we have to get our CSA scores down“. My last two weeks there I was pulled over twice for roadside inspections. Hire and pay better and get better drivers that’s how you bring your CSA scores down. Quick training rookies out of school and throwing them in a truck two weeks later when they have no clue what they’re doing is a recipe for disaster. But that’s what the company I worked for did. I just bailed on them as a result. I’m not doing anything to jeopardize my CDL or record. I passed both of my roadside inspections. But I knew I was going to keep getting pulled in.

1st. Flat doesn't mean 0 air. There is a threshold, something like 45-55 psi or such. Anyway a flat in most cases is obvious just by looking at it.

2nd. Blame your fellow truckers for the inspector's disbelief in your story. They hear all the time "it just happened" when they watched the exact same truck with the same issue roll past yesterday.....

3rd. Isn't being a trucker great? Where everything is the drivers fault no matter what?

it was neither. Still had air in and had structure. You could tell it was low by touching it but by looking at it, absolutely no way. And yeah it’s all the low life’s out here that I’ve noticed are growing more and more everyday who don’t take care of their equipment, leave their piss bottles on the side of the street etc. which is why they look at us as garbage. I know thats probably the main culprit like you stated. But I hold myself well, always dress nice, usually in button down shirt and jeans with my boots, comb my hair and just care about my hygiene. So I don’t hold myself like a low life, flip flop wearing ding bat lol it’s just unreal how he couldn’t have just told me to shut down behind the weigh station and get someone to fix the tire. It’s not like I was going to say screw it and just drive off. And what’s really not cool is how the trooper and the civilian both has smirks when putting me OOS. When I asked about whether or not it will ever leave my profile the civilian smiled and said no, it’ll be there forever. Like what a weirdo, psycho thing to say. How is it enjoyable screwing someone over? I can’t fathom that mentality. He was short fat and ugly, and I’m tall muscular and Italian. Not trying to be full of myself but if I had to guess, he really enjoyed it because of how I looked. Since he will never be sexually attractive lol I know that sounds ridiculous but at this point all cards are on the table.

but aside from me being silly, do you think this will hurt my future employment opportunities. It was just a “fix it ticket/warning” they didn’t cite me so I know I really got screwed. I would’ve rather have gotten a citation so I can at least appeal it. I’m willing to go to the oilfields or hell I’ll even go to Alaska if that means I can still make an income. I’m just stressing out like a mofo because I got bills to pay (mortgage/car note) and now I don’t know how I’m going to make the kind of money I’m making now with anything else without learning another skill which takes more time than I have available to me. Just really discouraged because this society we live is filled with low quality people and there’s nothing the average Joe can do.
