After reading and talking with a few on here I decided to go flatbed. Even though I just started school this week I reached out to a few companies. Melton told me to officially apply about 2/3 weeks before graduation. Didn't hear back from TMC yet and today maverick called and officially took my application. They are only hire specialized glass division in my area but I figured why not? Never thought about glass but it looks and sounds interesting!! If you haul glass let me know how you like it or any other info you want to provide
    thanks!!!

Best of luck! If you're going to be dragging glass, expect to be heavy all the time.

Glass sucks.. no variety, no challenge. Always timed and frequently checked on status update. Good luck!

Glass would not be a choice that I would pick. Flat bedding is for the physically fit and strong guys who can throw a 100 pound tarp! I'm not new to his world just newer to this industry. Good Luck!

I will agree with you about flat bedders being physically fit about 90% of them any way. I have seen my share of the fat Arsed ones too.

and it's a PITA to tarp glass. you have to put foam protectors on top. the 2 times i hauled glass. they pulled the tarps up for me. but at the receiving end. it was tricky getting tarps off as the foam would also come off. now you've got sharp edges to worry about. from the racks that hold the glass.

my tarps weight 70 pounds each.
