Going around Florida Scales on I-75 before the turnpike

    Florida doesn't mess with axle weights much, because of citrus. They will however get you on gross weight.

    Set your axles to 41 foot and roll on... Florida is very relaxed about weights as long as your not over gross.

    #####. hard to beleive that florida is that relaxed. i always thought they were one of the stricter states along with kentucky and tennesse.

    question though. would that be highway or seconday roads.

    cuz colorado allows 36 on tandems. 80k on the highway and 85k on secondary roads. if you have a 10ft spread on trailer.

    my atlas is in the truck and i'm not. so i was wondering that the atlas says about the two states.

    Yeah one thing I like about Florida is if their is a weight restriction on a road the sign is posted twice BEFORE you go down the road lol. Unlike some states.

    I've seen most state roads and us routes are truck approved.

    Yeah unlike AL. The sign was posted after you turn down the highway. A cop was conveniently posted right under the sign. Still fighting that ticket...
