Is anyone here actually scared of coronavirus? Cause idc about it at all. People are losing their minds cause the media won't shut up about it

 

That actually does concern me. Arizona is growing at a breakneck pace and there's only so many sources of fresh water in a barren desert. I'm hoping they continue to develop solar desalination before it becomes a real issue

 

I went shopping at a Kroger in Indy a couple days ago and 90% of the toilet paper was already gone at 7:30am. People had overflowing carts, the parking lot was chock full, and checkout lines choked the whole front half of the store.

The panic is messing with my loads too. I delivered to a Walmart warehouse in Ohio and the line to get in was 8-9 trucks deep. Trailers overflowed out of spots and into driveways. So many loaded trailers were parked in the "empty" lot that it took me a good 15-20mins just to find an empty trailer at all.

 

Right? Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the US, kills 647000 every year according to the CDC. COVID-19 has killed 60 in the US, and is on pace for 240 this year.

Now I don't mean to undermine the devastation that this virus will cause to 240 families. But if 2700x more people die from heart disease than COVID-19, why TF is the media not shoving that down our throats?

Probably because eating fatty food tastes good and exercise sucks. Nobody wants to flip on the news to be called fat and lazy by an anchor who's caked in three layers of makeup and wearing a body shaper under their blouse.
