Went to pick up my Bud load the next morning and the guard says it won't be ready ANYTIME today. Sp I get on the phone and get a different bud load going to Raleigh, NC instead. When I picked up the trailer I noticed that the tandems were not all the way back. When I scaled the load onsite it was perfectly balanced, alright then off we go.

Get to Raleigh this morning and have to wait for about an hour to get a door. I was very happy with the door I got #13. It was very easy backing in. Compared to door 12 that the guy had to blindside in.

The unloaded asked me to move my tandems to the rear. When I went to do that the air valve broke off in my hand. So I then had to call road maint to get me a place to get it fixed. Finally unloaded and off to the shop 5 miles away. When I got to the shop they had me drop my trailer and they took it in. After about 2 hours it was fixed.

While this was all happening I got my next PP. Picking up a load in Durham and taking it to Joliet, IL. Only I won't be taking it. I will be swapping with another driver in Lebanon JCT, KY so I can go on hometime.:biggrin_255:

This load is sooo light only 11K. I am really enjoy going up the hills at 62 instead of 45.

    That's all for now.

    Jrdude5 Thanks this.

now i know you're are BS'en us - those maxforce engines in those International Prostar suck pulling hills - even on a light load you'd lose speed - Calling you out on that BS

No b.s.. Having driven the same trucks for the same company I can verify that the MaxxForce will hold 62 going up most grades if your load is under 15K.

    rcd127 Thanks this.

Sitting at the Pilot in Lebanon JCT, TN after I swapped with the other driver. I called the consignee yesterday to check if if could deliver early. No dice, I can't show up till 1400. My appt is for 1600. Then it's home for 5 days.

Got home last night at 2300. They took 5 hrs to unload me and cost $400. Now that's a racket.

    Coming back out on 4/1.

No of course not the company paid but first they asked "why so much" I said there was a lot to be broken down. It was a 3M load with about 40 different items that they had to repalletized.
