Finished Hometime at 1200. Got a PP picking up in Moody,AL. When I get there they say it was canceled. Great way to start off.

Over to the Love;s down the street to wait. A new PP comes in picking up in Saraland, AL at a drop lot and going to Freeport, TX by 5/8 at 1300. I pick it up and tell them the earliest I can make it is 1500. They respond "Why Late".

The truck can only go so fast and I can only drive so long was my response.

Sitting at the MS welcome center.

The wife finally out of the hospital today.

Took off this morning with about 550 miles to go. Stop at a rest area for a break and got a QC message saying my appt has been changed to 5/9 between 0700 and 1300. Apparently that is their receiving time. so I stopped at the Petro in Beaumont, TX about 130 miles from my consignee. This is the closet TS on the way there.

Got up this morning at 0430. What a mess the TS was but got out ok with no incident. Drove over to my delivery about 120 miles away. I had to watch a 30 minute safety video and wear a hard hat which i think is a little ridiculous. But gotta do what they ask.

Got my next PP picking up in the same town Freeport, TX and delivering in Plant City, FL. Does not deliver till 0400 on Monday so got some time.

Sitting at the FJ in Orange, TX after getting loaded with 43Klbs of rice. I picked it up at the port. I actually got to use my TWIC card for the second time since I got it.

At the TA in Tampa,FL about 16 miles from my delivery at 0400 tomorrow. Sure is warm here 90 glad my APU works well. I did not know they charge $15 to park here. I could have stopped at a rest area on I75 about 20 miles back. I will know for next time.

Left the TA at 0315 this morning and I did not have to pay. There was a sign on the window saying if no attendant present you are free to go. Works for me :biggrin_25525:.

Now at the receiver, the company has to pay $150 to get me unloaded. Lumpers what a racket.

Took them 4 hrs to unload me. I put in for detention but doubt I will get it.

Took off to the FJ on EX10 of I4 to scan in trip. On the way there I got my next PP. Picking up in Jacksonvile,FL (Bud) and delivering in Linwood,NC. They took to long to update Navigo I went east on I4 and Jill wanted me to west so I had to turn around.

Sitting at the SC welcome center on I95 got here with 5 min left on my 14.

Delivered the beer yesterday. Man was that dock worker a pain. He was very cranky.

Got my next PP picking up about 50 miles away (Jill took me on all 2 lanes, my GPS said it was 77 miles away using interstates, I went Jill's way). It was a D/H at the shipper. The shipping lady was in such a good mood she made me laugh. Last night I stayed at the Petro in Knoxville, TN. Got a shower and a great salad.

Now I am at the Love's in St. Louis ( or as Jill would say Street Louis) about 15 miles from my delivery of wheels and tires at 0730 tomorrow.

Got up this morning, late for me 0600 got fuel and on to deliver. They took over 3 hours to unload me.

Got my next PP picking up in Jackson, MO and deliver in Plainfield, IN. The pickup was very quick and the delivery was a drop. I set my PTA for 0700 tomorrow. I will have to get an MT as the receiver would not release one.
