Delivered my load in Perrysburg, OH. I was 40 min late and had to sweet talk the receiving clerk into unloading me or I would have probably been stuck with the load all weekend.

Got my next PP. Picking up in the same town and delivering in Chesapeake, VA anytime Sunday and it's a D/H.

Sitting at a rest stop on the OH turnpike for the night. I don't think I have ever traveled this road.

I made it to the TA in Richmond,VA for the night and a good shower. I could have went to deliver but decided to do it in the morning. I would have had no time to drive and no place to park. Also where I am I can almost guarantee a beer load out of Williamsburg on an early Sunday.

Well I am now sitting at my shipper in Williamsbug and its not Bud. I got here around 0900 after getting up at 0400 to deliver my last load. The problem is this load will not be ready till 1900. If I had know that I would have stayed at the TA till late afternoon and would not have a possible HOS problem. I should have called and asked what time was this pickup. That's a problem I see that we get no info on the next load till we send in our MT call.

    oldtankinfool Thanks this.

Those were all my stores when I drove for SNI.Atl can be a bish, and those stores can put you in some bad situations.
I entered one store from the lower entrance, and got trapped behind all the rental equipment.
The guys had to move a good bit of equipment to help me get back around to the dock.
We had a booklet that told us how to enter each store, but I gave mine to a newbie.
I then ended up delivering to a store I had never been to,and wished I had kept it :biggrin_2552:

Sitting at the Petro in Carnsville, GA can't deliver till tomorrow at 0700 in Atlanta. Boy the traffic was very light and the truck stops are almost empty you would think it was a holiday like Memorial day or something.

Yesterday was a strange day finally got loaded at about 1600. Was able to get a 10 hr break and about 5 hrs of sleep. Went to pull away from the dock and the trailer falls down. OOPs not good ( tug test error on my part). Got the trailer back on the 5th wheel and took off drove about 6 hours to the SC welcome center on I85 which was deserted also.

I'm reading man; I'm in school now and probably headed to Murray soon; perhaps Sharkey, perhaps Roehl, all have the same phased training program...

This morning got up and delivered in Atlanta. It was early so traffic wasn't too bad. Got backed into the dock and it took them 4 hours to unload 155 pieces of furniture.

Waited for my next PP to arrive it took about another hour and they send me one picking up in Atlanta and going to Wharton, NJ. I have to accept it. But I note that I do not do the NE. Get about a 1/2 mile from the pickup and my FM messages don't pick up load until you hear from me. About an hour later i get PP removed. OK now what. I sit for another hour and get another PP this one picking up in Peachtree City, GA with 2 stops one in MS and final in AR.

Sitting at the Alabama welcome center for my 10 this was the last rest area I could make it to.
