Had permit ready to go today but the scales didn't look twice. Weigh in motion pulled me in but got bypassed inside. One more trip friday.

I know the Georgia DOT used to be bad about busting OS loads going to Chattanooga. In TN, if you are going to Chattanooga on I24, you go through few miles through GA before you get back into TN. Lots of OS loads wouldn't buy a GA permit for just the few miles, GA DOT was watching and they would nail them.

A few years ago, it was almost a given that you would get stopped pulling OS going through that little stretch on I24, for them to check your permits. I'm actually surprised GA hasn't put up a set of scales on I24.
